Tartu City Governmentestablished today the chief committee for the next Tartu Song Festival that will take place on 13 June 2009. Mayor of Tartu Urmas Kruuse will chair the committee that brings together representatives of city government's institutions and arts groups of Tartu including Riho Leppoja, Director of Tiigi Community Centre, Alo Ritsing, Chief Conductor of Tartu Academic Male Choir, Margus Kasemaa, Chief Conductor of Wind Band Tartu and Jaanus Randma, Artistic Director of Estonian University of Life Sciences Folk Dance Ensemble Tarbatu.
